My point is that Eeelfranz' candle openings seem to be the same as mine....obvioulsy massive time difference but when I asked him, our actual candle opening seemed to match. So his 10pm candle (or the first one he assesses for his 4 hour charts before he goes to bed) is the same candle I get here at 4pm. So this next candle for me will align with his first trade 4 hour candle.

I passed on the that one, small candles, against daily trend and the TDI angle (at the time I posted this) could be better.

IMO, TDI @ 4:30 ( not 6 or 4 ) and the first candle is small and week, but good luck!

Well yeah, I would ask myself would I trade a short on the daily at the moment and the answer would be no. However it does look a little like the daily might be loosing some momentum and the weekly trend is down (although weakening), so I'd expect there might be a reversal soon, but maybe not today.

Remember though just my opinion - seen plenty of trades like this work out.

Interesting to know how you guys view a chart and determine the trend. Please dont take this as criticism guys, I am just curious as to how different people perceive it. Why do you think the daily is in an uptrend?? and not just a larger pullback from the downtrend it has been on for a long while??

Yes I do, Since I live in Europe and have to work all day long, I am not able to sit in front of my computer each hour or 4 hours. That's why I move to higher timeframes.

Anyway, I was wondering if the entry was correct. I'll keep you guys posted with the result and maybe some more entries if they occur.

Eelfranz and the senior guys here. A question for you:
When you are looking at your chart and assessing a trade entry.
In regards to looking at support and resistance levels prior....how far to the left do you guys take notice of?? as in how far back time wise do you consider the S/R to be relevant.
SOme consider levels way back to be irrelevant to the current situation due to stops having been hit and those areas cleared of orders etc etc and some consider all prior S/R levels to be relevant, so just wondering how far back you have found these levels to be relevant to your trade??

What I do is ask myself if I was in a trade long on the daily would I be exiting? No (although i'd be locking in profits)
Would I trade a short on the daily? Not yet

As I said before your right the weekly trend is down, and as chilli said a 300 pipper is round the corner, but who knows when?

My opinion is not quite yet, but it may go today who knows.
