Dyekid217... Good analysis buddy...

I get a little frustrated when people keep adding stuff and then posting it on the forum. I repeatedly ask others to PM others on the thread with the new ideas and not posting them. At least PM me with their ideas...

The main entry rule is: green crossing red on the TDI within the first 2 candles for an entry......

thanks Big E,
this finally hits the spot because it was starting to get confusing with the different interpretations. i'll play by these rules now.
thanks evo

Just finished reading from page one to the end 2nd time and picked up a few point that I missed the first. I did see a lot of people asking about time I go to this site if I'm not sure you can enter you city and it will give open and close of the session in you local time. like eelfranz trading method simple . This tells me the time here in New Zealand just change Auckland to your city. Hope it will help some one

I have MT4 with Oanda. I loaded Tdi red green mq4 under broker experts indicators but when i look under custom indicators on the charting platform it isnt there. I know most of you use FXDD any reason it wont work with Oanda.

Thanks Jay, infact I do have the TDI crossover arrows on my chart, but the arrows only show TDI crossover & don't take into consideration the following:

i. Stochastic in line with TDI crossover
ii. Previous two HA Candles HH /HC (Bigger body) and
iii. High and close of previous candle above MA5 (with offset)

(Above considerations are for Buy & reverse setups for Sell)

I believe with these modifications, multiple arrows will not be shown and quality signals will be shown on chart.

Thanks,
Fx4gain

Good evening,

I have been reading this topic all day to get up to speed and I have to say I am impressed. No single post gives me a feeling that this system won't work or won't be profitable!

Big E I have to congratulate you by creating such a simple system and would like to thank you for sharing it with the community.

Anyway, after reading the whole topic I have decided to open my first 2 trades with this system.

1) EURUSD - Sell - Week
2) USDJPY - Buy - Day

If there are comments or remarks, please share them so I could learn even more from this system.

King regards,
Diego

Try this... after dropping an indicator into the experts/indicators directory, you need to exit MT4 and then relaunch it -- it should be in your custom indicators from then on... cheers!

I have rebooted my pc several times. Still not showing. Only difference I see is all the files in there are ex4 files instead of mq4.

I dragged the file over and dropped it in. Found out that I should have clicked on the file which downloads a file to be input.

On any timeframe when green crosses red (12-2 or 4-6 angle) we enter the trade at the beginning of that candle...
Ignored
Can anyone please help me with this "12-2 or 4-6 angle" mean? Thank you, sorry to ask, i'm a newbie one...

For those that use Tradestation someone had converted the TDI indicator to a Tradestation EasyLanguage eld. It's called 'TDI w VolBand.eld'. Found it attached on post #8 at http://www.traderslaboratory.com/for...-eld-5524.html

Since I became aware of the importance of this indicator I was curious how it would work on tick charts, or odd time frames like H2, H3, M45 on say futures, leveraged ETFs, etc.

Attaching a picture of the EU on a 3000 tick chart. I see a long signal one bar back but it's countertrend and nearing the 21 EMA. Tick charts tend to be smoother than time charts.

d4r3---...

Think of a clock on the wall ... For Longs you want the green line pointing between noon and 2... just the opposite for Shorts... green line pointing between 6 and 4 on the clock before taking a trade... got it ? Been explained a couple of times already...

Brapp,

Close your Brokers File...

Load your indicators in your indicator file... then close...

Do a re-start. On your brokers platform those indicators should have loaded in your Custom Indicators file.

Click and drag to your chart...

AlienFrog,

I found your post very refreshing.

Yes the system is simple hence the name "Trading Made Simple".

Congrats on doing the work and reading through the entire thread before asking 100 questions that have been already answered.

You've set a great example and a high standard for all newcomers.

Regards,
Rascal
