Cable Chart is looking to have built a bit of a base, check your hourly on that...If we see cable a rockin, we could see it picking fiber up as a hitch hiker...

Interesting area here, Not sure if this is important but noticed that its around the downward trendline that the EURO broke not long ago on the daily.

Good place for a bounce I suppose, I am biased to the short side on the hourly.

I am really wondering if this Commodity sell off was a massive crazy correction, or if it is the beginning of something bigger.

Next few days will tell. Gold, Oil, Wheat, Corn, S&P and Silver are at Huge technical long term levels. If they do decide to break lower, I guess I will have my answer.

I kind of feel that we are due for a bounce, especially in Gold and the Grains (the wheat and corn crop are in serious danger this year). But if we continue dumping Monday-Tuesday, Down she goes.

just a reminder to all swing and position traders. We ARE still in a Bull Market. These corrections are normal and necessary. This pullback was seen coming a mile away from the 4911 level.. As well as market timing. Really the old adage of "sell in may and go away" seems to of been the driving force here.

Buying areas on this dip : 4240, 4154, 3985 and 3728( Huge number)

@ FXCM............. isn't so that up till last weekend (today funny late login) we were able to see the movement alrady now (4pm US) .... trading was closed, till 5pm, yes, but the price was "live and moving" already by now....

today it is still day, suppose will kick in at 5pm

the big guys having head start?

IF we get a weekly close under 1,4150 we are back into that DOWNWARD trending monthyl channel that has a bottom at 1.098.

Lol not saying that is where we are going but just an observation that we may not be in a pure bull market on euro .

yeah i was looking at that line to, some of the big cheeses on here are talking about that area being a demmand zone, keep your powder dry mate.

my take is that the most recent drive through that channel top you referenced was on ecb rate hike expectations, I didn't actually see last thursday's press conference, but I'm assuming that Tricky has thrown in a huge element of doubt for further near term hikes and that this is what has triggered the profit taking sell off, obviously SM was already in on it and positioned prior to the conference, the drop started as the conference started...

lol! Hey if it does Im collecting shorts along the way!

Probabilities and the numbers so far are showing otherwise. But anything is possible right?


I mean if you look at a 10 year chart on the EU it is basically just a Huge Bull Flag formation... LOL

And I am more or less speaking from a mid to long term fundamental viewpoint. As long as Bernanke keeps up the "extended" easy monetary policy the USD is not very attractive( from a VERY basic analysis)
