Not to disparage your methods because if it it works for you, great. My question and my problem with that is, If it discludes Thursday and Fridays data, how reliable can it be especially after a week like this?

There just seems to be too much info that is missing to make a logical decision from it.

That is the problem here... We cannot completely trust Cot for this week.. But still we can see if big money did build up longs in fist have and last half of last weeks datEs...


as for Wednesday , Thursday and Friday may be we can see on which timeline did the most selling happened and derive some conclusion from it as to who sold..

Weekend trading?

Why?

If you had a good week you sure in the Hell aint going to be spending time trading in a market when liquidity is at its lowest.

For the most part it is made up of people (maybe about 100 ) trying desperately to make up big losses or people who do not seem to mind getting a terrible price for what they are buying or selling.

Which brings us to the much revered and debated weekend gap.

A gap I have collected data from and digested for about two years now.

It is very powerful.

Are weekend traders part of a cause of that gap?

A gap that is filled on some pairs over 90% of the time and of the other 10% that when it doesn't get filled it just misses. Meaning that out of the 10% that doesn't get filled 7% makes up 75% of the gap.

Very powerful especially when you look at the lack of any major drawdown associated with it.

I thought the anunaki created the humans, why would they eat us as happy meals?

You know I love your instincts as a trader, and you offer an insight that steers outside of the norm, and for tht alone you have earned my utmost respect....

However, the sessions on this pair have net been respective to session boundaries, and for this reason, I have to disagree....

I would love to have an actual volume per session to see where the money lies, but won't hold my breath on that....

We are, as always, in a critical time. Do we stay, do we go, are we long or are we short willl always be the question....and how do the fundies play their role....

You...right now are my gift to the trades off the long TF's...and I really want to know where you thin shit is headed...

I can not say yes or no.

In my humble opinion there are so many factors at work that no single session can be singled out as being the decided influence where prices will go for the next 24 hours.

I have heard some on here talk about waiting for the "frankie". It needs to be put to the test because there does seem to be some truth to that.

For example I have been doing a study on the GBP/USD. Can the movement of the last hour of NY trading give us a lead of where it will go during the next three hours, or otherwise the opening of Japan.

Initial data was impressive. A clear signal was shown. recently, like coin flips, the results have not been very impressive.
