Yep 2scoops....its funny though...coming from smaller time frames...which is all I have been used to, counter trend is pretty much a no no...here it seems ok provided the signals are good. I guess due to the candle length....obviously s lot more pips in a 4 hour candle than a 5 minute one , but totally agree with you

theres more opportunities to trade counter, but its still really important. If I feel the higher timeframe trend is weak or showing signs of reversing I will trade counter. If you think about it we want our 4HR trades to go at least 3 candles, so if were in on candle 2 thats four candles, thats most of a full day, so if taking a trade that is counter to the higher trend were taking a gamble on the daily trend reversing or at least weakening.

can anyone tell me what i'm doing wrong. i have loaded tdi indicator but nothing seems to work. i have manually put an rsi and ma but not sure if correct. it just does'nt want to open.
any help would be welcome. thanks evo.

If you're already in the trade then its best to mange it with tight stops.....but I would suggest not to take trades until after the NFP news, when things will become a little clearer.

You shouldn't need to add anything manually just copy the 5 method indicators into your MT4 experts\indicators folder and copy the 5 method template into the main MT4 template folder (not the template folder in the experts folder) - then restart MT4 and right click on your chart - click on templates and choose the 5 method one.

why i put a 7rsi and ema in manually . i just can not figure why it won't load.

Try deleting some unused indicators in the experts/indicators directory. Some MT4 platforms only allow a certain number of indicators to be loaded. Just a thought, hope it helps!

Hey Guys,

I'am back from work 8 1/2 hours later and I'am up about $50.00
on all three trades.

I know I wasen't following the rules but I wanted to place the trades
before I went to work so I kinda guessed the direction off of the
daily. It looks like it chugged along on the botton and is just now
getting a good signal on the 4 hour chart. Think I'll let them
run for awhile and see what happens.
