we already had b/o on the 4h when we closed below 4535... the h one needs 4506 close below... the next level below using b/o levels is 4387 below this looks rough..

market is driven by price and volume that drives that price, mark up thru a resistance level should lead to a low volume test of that resistance now support.

Breaks of a support level ( 1.4650 ) should lead to a no demand test of that resistance

As long as what you do works ... that is all that matters. i used advanced GET an EW software and it just reprinted over and over .... so if that cannot get it right how can a mere mortal

S/R does not give guideline for direction, EW does.

That old pink line below current pa is exactly at 1.4506. and that dotted blue line further down (equally old) is the bottom of a 600 pip wide channel.

My target is 1800. I have a long entry at $16xx, tomorrow might not see much movement for this pair.

He is probably right, but maybe too early.

The red circle in this chart indicates bottom of a channel around 1.6000 and its upper boundary should be near 1.8000. But again, its too early.

ps - Oooooooooooooops Yes, he is talking about Gold not Euro/USD.

Hey Malcolmb - are you serious? Just because it went down 30pips from current high? U can't be serious dude. I have 2 longs @ 10eur a lot so far - one at 1.4525, other one at 1.4575. If this doesn't take out 1.4509, I'm sticking with my plan. If not - what the heck - I can still open another 3998 lots to counter-trade it. Some of you guys are real whips here. Instead of kindly helping to as much people as possible and discussing you are just ironically laughing and making fun of newbies and dissing everybody who is willing to put out a trade plan...

Just checked your plan, I am one of those whippers you mentioned though. It did happen, I think in October 2009. It came down to 1.4500 without touching 1.5000 and then next month went beyond 1.5000. But again came down to this current level and again went beyond 1.5100 before finally dropping to below 1.2000. But all this tells me it does not like to stay much above 1.5000.

I am not saying your plan has any issues, but its just my opinion about how this pair behaved in the recent past.

ps - Whipping will continue, we also got whipped not so long ago.

gbp closed with a daily b.o close.. that's the good news. the bad is its just 9 pips above the next s/r. next oil target is 95.76
