Hi All,

Is anyone experiencing problems with the TDI indicator? I have the same chart open twice on the MT4 FXDD platform, but seem to get different TDI indications? See attached charts. First chart shows TDI green pointing up whereas the second chart shows TDI green hooking downwards. I have tried refreshing the charts etc....but no joy. Both charts are on 1H timescale.

Can anyone shed some light as to how this can happen? Thanks in advance!

Dean is right ... posting indicator is ok,but talking about it may not be ok,becos it may infringe on the tread owner,due to the fact that it might lead to a new discussion topic altogether and all sort.

Believe it or not, I just clicked on to my eur/jpy hourly chart, hit refresh and the green line had crossed the red at a beautiful downwards angle, stochs same along with ema. I entered on the first candle and just squared up with 43 pips!! all in about two minutes. Pretty bloody happy with that!!

Thanks for sharing this great method Eelfranz! I took this Daily trade using micro lot while I am building confidence and experience.

I'm just not lucky at all, I'm always loosing this week... pretty weird. Hope I'll get better chance next time.

Yes AudUsd Daily trade against Daily trend. However seemed as if first possible obstacle only appears at 1.07 to 1.0750 zone. If breaching this level could go down further 100 pips. Would not take it if angle on TDI was not so good. Other aspect that I love about this methodology is that HA candles give early warning signal. When wrong, you could get out with minimum damage usually. So I am prepared to take such risk on good looking angles.

First K is in :-) ... best 5 trade yet (+800), but bad trade right after (-300).

And dean, there is way to auto-refresh. Shoot me a PM if you are still interested.

(I don't use it myself btw, I would rather swap to a shorter TF)
hi guys, first i want to say a big thanks to the starter of this thread and to all who r contributing. Simple system, clean entry and some good pips. i must admit that the TDI is a very usueful indic. Without distracting anybody or trying to add anthing to the rules, i need a favor from any coder arond here. Can the TDI be coded in a way that if u plot it on a specific timeframe, it'll rather show what is going on on the higher timeframe with a user define input? e.g : u plot it on 1H but it' ll show the datas of 4H or D1; or u plot it on 15M and it'll show the datas of 1H or 4H. Thanks and many pips

Out of AudUsd trade with 175 pips. If it was not for ECB meeting and all news items I probably would close out at end of day given that it is a counter trend trade.

You want TDI angle of 12-2 or 4-6.... 1 & 5 is best
