didn't quite hit my "load up" area to short but i did throw a couple more on, have 4 going now avg 47

Cloggie that's very similar to what I do.

I use FF for fundy time to see whats goin on
Then I do a top down with daily and 4 hour I use 1hr to scope entries and 15 to enter. I use 5 to see breakouts before the happen

ALWAYS with the trend using S&R on major timeframes Fibos and Pivots
MACD Divergence
Trendlines
ADR
Look at the Dollar Index.

Only getting in at major support and resistance levels
10-20pip stops,
trail stops on swingpoints off the 15
Shoot for max gains and minimize risk early.

Cheers... I know you seem to be equally respected and loathed around here but when it comes down to it experience and runs on the board are what counts in the end.

So whilst i always strive to form my own opinion I appreciate hearing what those with a clue have to say... Given you were saying short when I was thinking long had me really stop and think about it again so I could have been stopped out already had I gone in - so I appreciate your contribution!

As for going on the attack well anything that livens things up around here is welcome as far as Im concerned!

If we do keep short it will be interesting to see if it breaks the previous channel lower than 4783ish. I have a short target from the last retracement of the downmove around 4788, so that would be the area to watch if we move towards it.

Well im glad to know im not the only one that lived in a motel for half a year piss poor broke working 10 hour days and learning until i could stay awake anymore for 2 years. Its paying off now boi... thats 4 sho

Finally got home (for a change) and wanted to get in on the Asian action. The last time I traded Asia last week scored me some big pips.

My target is 772/1 area at the bottom of the "head/shoulder" shape. Two lots shorted @ 832 and 825. Done after a bounce of the 267EMA on 1M.

Stops now moved to BE + a bit of change for lunch.

u dont wanna know my story......so yes, Forex is the only larger, harder, more intense thing I could find,....not to mention....only thing paying bills right now

Nothing to be ashamed of, I have been very open what it took me to make it in this business, and everyone that is succesful will tell you a very similar story. There are very few that get lucky and make it inside a few months, but for 99% of us that have survived 5 or 10 years it has taken ages to get halfway decent.

Ive been learning for coming up to 3 years now and Im only just getting to the point where Im comfortable funding an account in a month or two, once I fully establish the expectancy of my method, MM, trade management and stop taking fecking trades that i shouldnt!

This runn is looking long in the tooth, from Jan to till now i guess the end of Qe2 should kill it. Any thoughts on that?

Actually, I started last May, made a 500% profit in 4 months....6 figures, then got caught by the Frank Dodd leverage mess...my fault totally...killed the account anger trading....depressed for 2 months and now here....making it back 1 pip at a time. I digresss
