xinix1974,

Your trade on post 1336 appears to be a good trade by the rules, second candle, TDI crossed, stochastics in agreement.

Please post chart with results after close.

Also, to answer your question on post 1341, I have been trading forex approx 1-1/2 years and started this method 3 weeks ago (wish I had found sooner).

The first week I was positive 45 pips, after losses incurred while still trying to trade M5 and M15 TF along with H4.

Second week (last Week) +90 pips, again would have been better if I could stay away from M5 and M15 TF.

This week. 1 trade at +65 pips and I am ONLY going to trade H1 and H4 TF.

Just entered GU long on a cross.

Not a perfect by the rules entry though.

I wanted to wait until after the first USD news was already reported.

So entry was on second candle a 1 HR and 40 minutes into the candle, and 40 pips past the start.

But, it looked good to me because price made it above a pivot and a round number, AND there is plenty of room for it to go up.

But, if you look at my SL and my entry, this could slide back into a range.

P.S. looking good so far trade went +8 almost immiediately. Gotta love when a trade goes right away.

Hey all,

There seems to be a lot of confusion on entries. I will try to help using chart I posted (posted 1334).

If you look at chart the 1st blue candle (candle before red vert line) is 10 pm 4 hr candle. At this candle the TDI looked like it was going to cross but did not, the red and blue lines formed a point.

I got up at 1:55 am to catch open of 2 am candle, as it opened the blue TDI line opened above (crossed) red line and candle opened blue (entry signal), this is why it is important to watch open of new candle. This happens over and...

Hey Gang...

I'm kind of under the weather today and will be on the side lines.

I took no trade last night.

I shoot for 50+ pips a day trading full lots. When I reach my goal I quit live trading for the day... not greedy here...

Back to you soon... Kick bootie today...

Hi

This is how i trade this system and has worked for me, I dont trade in NY times due to the fluctuations , I trade during the london time and 4 hrs prior to london open ,

I used this system in 1 hr period and with clear intention to get out by candle no 3, I used only TD and nothing else

Whn I see TD crossing green over red or red over green and in 1 Hr time frame, I drop to lesser time frame like 30 min 15 min or 5 min for entry with same rules, Believe me all my trade have been in positive ground

Good system only TD will do , rest if u want take or leave .

Hi Unimak, when TD is crossing green over red, do you wait for a new 1HR candle or do you directly drop to lesser time frames to get in?

ok, I am a noob and it is my first post here. Here is a GJ trade I took this morning. Entry on the close of the first blue candle @134. Now the second blue candle [email protected] 133.88 10am est. TDI green was going strong until 5 mins later a 60pip drop. So the current 4h candle shows red and the green TDI is flat. My question would be: should I close it when the candle turns red or should I wait till the close of this candle? I guess this is why Big E close all his trade at 9am EST, that we often see a reversal after 9:30 stock open? Thank for the help.

Keep in mind GJ can move 50-100 pips very very quickly. Not a pair I would recommend for anyone new to trading at all.

If you are new I would go with EU and or GU.
