Amazing Hitrate by our master! Once again.

However I don't have success with the BE + "let it run" trades.
Should have taken profit on DR1.
PA is driving down hard at the moment.
Seems another stopping out at BE. (only some pips away)
At least not loosing $$ but not the first time this is happening to me.

Even with proper settings, the pivot levels can, and usually are, different between different brokers. This is because different brokers have different flows of orders/prices, which effect their OHLC bar data, which effects the pivots calculations. Consider pivot levels as you would S&R leves; as areas rather than exact levels.

I trade usually 1 pair EU and meet my daily targets easly.
You dont need 100's of pips per day, if you can make 50 or 30 every day you will win in long run.

The trend is clearly upward, but the PA is trapped in the "range box" where does it go?

Early session trading is definately bearish. But the real test of bearish will be if the price is taken to the bottom of the range. Then I'd look for a pull back up for a SonicR short entry somewhere after the London Open possibly.

As for my three part trade, if PA makes it to bottom of range, I can get a few pips profit on EP1 and plenty of profit on EP2, both of which I'll likely close there, even though it is above my TP1. That would leave EP3 running, which would probably be the equivalent of a good short entry today if this proceeds as a short with a pull back up.

Entered long. TPs and SL are as shown in the picture. This last low may have ended with "stopping volume". The previous low area seems to have involved a drive down, then high volume, then a drive up. So, this could have been the gathering in of long positions at the previous low, and a quick repeat of that on this last low. Anyway, now to wait and see what happens later at the USD high impact releases.

This is a good point for discussion, Benny. Do we take early profits, or do we simply bring the SL to BE+ and let the trade run?

It might be a question of if the pair is trending or ranging. In this case, EU has been trending up, but recently has been ranging. When trending up, maybe just moving the SL to BE+ is ok. But if the pair is ranging, that method can cost you the profits at TP1 as the price reverses back towards the opposite side of the range!

I am not sure that I am fully decided on just one method. But in the back of my brain I hear a voice saying that taking quick profits always, might cause me to lose out occasionally on some really spectacular runs, but it will nealy always make me money! That is something to reflect further on!

well. looking at current PA I'd say that there are ripples not waves. so here I have question - how big waves has to be to validate entry?
some prefer to wait for at least 30 pips and few hours lenght waves, other entering even on "ripples".
22 traders viewing now
