Maybe PA stalls at around 4870 and reverses south.

That could be the pattern:

From the top last week down was the A leg (- 4775)

Now we are in a broader B-leg (up), which evolves as an ABC flat correction. We are now in the impulsive leg C (up) of this flat.

When wave B is finished we will see sharp move down as C leg which should ideally target 4770 to 4700

There were a lot more chances of getting stopped out going short than if you scalped long in the fluid move...

Hard to say. Price currently favours a short setup. The more we visit that bottom trend line the higher the likelyhood to break down.

Of coz... if for whatever reason we suddenly don't visit that bottom anymore, then maybe it is a sign that the bulls are finally taking over. Until then, still short biased.

any chances it will go back to 1.4795? It missed mine Tp just for 2pips no i dont know if i should cut it now and grab green pips i have now or wait unit it comes back to mine original TP.

doesnt look bullish anymore on smaller TFs

yea, its always silent before the storm...
JPY holidays is shadowing this week I reckon... Still going to drop in and see if there are any confirmed trends though, but so far I cant see any so.... killing some time...

Hello Everyone,

Very informative thread...

I would view a close below 1.4770 at 15:00 GMT as a trigger to see 1.4698 before long... While if we close below 1.4771 by 23:00 tonight we will see 1.4632 traded...

You need to see if we are making higher lows or not. That will be your first sign that the bulls are beginning to overpower the bears.

BNP Paribas: BNP FX Analyst - The EUR is likely to remain supported ahead of the ECB decision on Thursday, but we note that yesterday saw the ECB's Wellink become the first member of the governing council suggest that he would be open to the rescheduling of Greek debt - although he ruled out any haircut on principal. The EU and IMF begin their mission to Greece today; and the next couple of weeks will also see negotiations on the Portuguese bailout. While the single currency may have some further upside, we would see this as limited to the 1.5050 level and would look to go short at those levels.
