Really there are no gaps in forex on weekends this is because your broker is close on saturdays and parts of friday and sunday. There are certain banks or brokers if you will like oanda that still have 24x7 trading.

If you want to see what is happening with prices afterhours in currencies for Friday evening, saturday, and sunday you can monitor the prices here:

i know that. Gaps are areas on a chart where the price of a stock (or another financial instrument) moves sharply up or down with little or no trading in between.

right & as eu coincide more or less with usdx presently but still last move down here was exaggerted to me , more fear applied for eurozone , means eur in more trouble than usd today for any reason, both on the same down track to trash so far .

and at the same time as usdx play next levels to down again eur unwillingly to up further with huge trouble in it if now , may be little slower rate . otherwise eu has no exact cause of fear it to pay punishment by huge bull spike next time after another try down apparently if not already over. lets see ,

bad news though, if gold is the only thing that moves that means our paper money isn't worth anything (if it continues that way in the longer term).

Exactly , eur usd levels going up or down not matter or neccessary one going down & another up , just relative interexchange rate it show , both tends paper value or less may be , the cost making notes may not cover by face value, due continuous printing & devaluation making gold specially high even unnessary investors not all worry about.Both of them need more notes to the same amount of gold comparing a past time. just my idea .

Hopefully, but do you know what his business is? I mean he's not being paid by those referred to low-income americans, but by other parties.
My theory is, that given that he is still owning his position, he can't be doing too bad a job, can he? Besides, devalueing the dollar isn't too bad for big business (jobs, export etc.).

EDIT: I forgot to mention debt.
