I second theLion, today is one of those rare days were you can take all your indicators, chart patterns and collected fundamentals and put them out the window.

thinking 1.57 and maybe higher.

Every dip in the euro is being bought like mad, same with the us stock markets. I see 1450 s and p on the cards and 1.57 in july....

not so fast, longterm linear extrapolation is not really incorporating all the worldchanging facts lol. two years ago i set a target of 1.86 for end of summer this year. would be pure luck. but if we see some positive signs for a rate hike this pair will fault, put a 1000p stoploss.

draw line of your 1st peak , join the three peaks ... now draw a 1-2-3 fib of the lows. This is a CLASSIC bull wedge and the bottom of each dip has been bought heavy . euro is just in a long term channel , yes we may bounce around everyday and there will be trades on both the long and short side , but as we can clearly see from this chart usd is dead in the water. eur will be 1.7 in q1 2013 and have a value of 2 somewhere in 2016 .

sounds far fetched ? so did 1.45 when I mentioned it at 1.3....

Anyone that thinks Ben is going to produce a rabbit out of his arse to save usd , think again. USD debt is as bad as Japans was when it went into its depression that it is still in .
