SL could be placed below DPV to give some space to breath.

I would like to ask if you'd think this will be a valid wave analysis too? ie the start of leg 3 of a down wave?
Cause I find myself having trouble differentiating the formation of waves, for example if it's a pullback of an up wave or the start of a down wave. Any advice you could offer?

you are asking the right questions! So you are on a good way.
This is exactly one of the big challenges on sonicr trading.
The waves may first look long and then turn into short.
This is why you want to wait until confirmation (e.g. green candle closing above dragon). The fight is on at 82.88.
You wave counting might also be possible and as I look now might be even more realisitc as PA didn't make it through 82.88.
To add a few words:
Please note that PA is still above Trendline. Speaking in probablities it would be in favor for long.
