Damm here I was getting bored at work and all this entertainment was happening in this thread.

In one corner the stupendously clueless talentfx and johnny-something persisting with their short calls in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary and in the other corner Cloggie going-blue-in-the-face abusing them all the while falling over backwards trying to point out that he is awesome and goddammit why won't you philistines acknowledge his super-duper-ness?

Very amusing! Twee should charge an entertainment surcharge for this thread.

Back to business, another momentum killing asian session so far. I have closed all my positions and I'll wait for LO to give next signal unless a trend forms in the meantime. Personally I feel there is an top forming here and a retrace to the 42xx is in order. But waiting for LO in any case.

Morning All,

Nice to wake up to some green pips!
Firstly, Gator and Clogs are DA MAN!

Gator, Great Call on the upside to 64. I traded it too but chickened out when it went towards 84... BUT! I did'nt take a longer term SHORT. In fact I placed an order to short at 84 but cancelled it cos after thinking about it...Clogs is damn right. Look for reasons for market to continue... not reverse. Someone else posted a response to Gator to that effect. PinoyBoy (hiya pare ko! ) also posted to the upside to 4404.... funny how these numbers of 20 pip multiples keep on coming up. So traded LONG @ 361 TP 397 (no need to be greedy) and went to bed.

Am now flat.

Clogs, thx for all your help on my trading. I'll never forget these lessons!

A test of the 4364 are would not surprise me before London opens up. Might look for a spot to buy there, and then a move back towards 4409. A break of 4340, with a good bear candle and might then look for short for lower.

I got 4382 as the H1 barrier for a bear move with support at 4347.

I choose to see on closed bars in London time zone, on any time frame. When I draw a lower trend line on the daily, it was broken on Monday and still serve as a support as the daily yesterday did not close above the line again. Today has not yet closed, so for me it is not broken, even if we are above the line at the moment. We are at daily r1 and (when looking at closed price on the 4h chart, wich I trade off) on the 61,8fib for retracement.

Fund:
S&P AAA/A-1+ rating of the US are still intact, it was a "downgrade" from stabile to unstabile with a 33% chance of being downgraded in the next 2-3 years, at least this is how I have read it. The EU economy are still shaky, latest yesterday Portugal applied the EU for a 80 billion euro bailout deal. We have home sales coming out today, with a predicted positive figure.

Trade:
Short 1.4390
Tp 1.4250 (daily s1 and near the two last days daily close 1.4230ish)
Sl 1.4460 (50% of tp level)

Don't disagree, its just that those two large bars from Asia will probably have some buyers lurking in them.

dilemma. we closed 2h ago above 85.. at 4399... we have since closed the last h below 4399..
i went back and did the next bull wave.. it came up with 4411..
we usually pullback after. so i did a bear wave and came up with 4296.9 im not saying we go there.. but the mid is usually reached.. the mid is at 4355. i post this before the mid.. is reached just in case.. anyway this is some math i do.. the 4309 one would still valid. this one is below 4310.. an old breakout level...4385 is also a old breakout level.. and would probably be support/res.. 4399 would be the st resistance. dont trade this.. its just an observation.

Yesterday's upward did carry us past 50% of the day 1 down. D1 may well be bullish. No foul still make some pips off H1 though

Closed the lousy short at BE +1/2 pip.
Nice non-lousy shorts still open. SL well above 1.4450.
