Was this a scheduled news (the rating, not the downgrade), or did it come out of nowhere?

Downgrades like this tend to come out of nowhere, thats when the HFT's go nuts and you either ride their coattails or stay out. I posted a chart earlier what I did on the news and it paid of handsomely.

No Important news has been released lately but it went up nearly 80 pips in 2 minutes any idea ?

Plenty here don't understand it and ridicule it to no end. Proper traders make the most money when the news and techs align, that's the time to go in heavy.

i had a nice time Shorting the USDCHF Longing EURUSD and Longing GBPUSD 30 mins ago... but tp on 20 pips each :/ could've done better ah well...

Im ok with 57 pips today thats why I wont trade Monday afternoon. I posted some time ago about that.

This happens on Monday when large orders get into play.

Right, I was averaging down with 3 open trades from 4325 down to 4277. Just flipped my eyes from TV to the chart and took a nice profit from all 3.

The agency is really helping the price from falling the uptrend line today. Will see if we could stand up there.

We returned to 4300 because there were loads short earlier on Finnish and Germand news, lots of repositioning going on here. This is bearish for US, look at es and DOW, flight to safety is reflected in Gold right after the news. Traders are scratching their head on this pair, the race of the 2 ugly sisters is becoming less obvious. IMF funding is not changed just because of the change in outlook in the US, the US needs the IMF, the more they meddle in the EU, the weaker the dollar stays, that works for them. The US is just about the only country left that can manufacture themselves out of the mess they are in.

IF you are not sure what to trade here, let the big boys reposition and find a technical reason to judge what they are thinking.

I am short dollars for now, and will continue to buy the dips on this pair for the rest of the day. Will need another fundie trigger to change that intermediate bias here. I am eyeballing 4340 here next to change the intraday direction.
