It can be done, as I am doing it... it's just not very consistent. March and February have been some of my slowest months in a while in terms of positions trades.

I'm averaging somewhere around 20-50 pips a day with the position trades.
Position taking is a completely different game. The account has to be big in order to make decent returns. But the good thing about it is that no babysitting is involved.

I'm short with a bad entry. Revenge trade...over leveraged, no stop.
This was my worst trading day since Jan.
This is what I hate about trading, one bad day and you ruin a couple days of hard work.

I wonder if I should get out now. I could place a stop above 4530, but I don't want to risk another 40 pips. Lost 10% of my account so far.

Any idea how to make the best out of it?

It will likely drop back to 1.44 or so, but I don't see a direction at the moment. What was your entry?

I use the other ingredients, like Murrey Math, fibs, pivots, but what should I say: EW seems to be (sometimes) predominant

trade with maximum awerness, if you miss a entry point or setup.. wait until next..
we can trade 24 hours a day.. so many possibilities.. why did you took the bad one?

pipnapper, tough spot to be in... never revenge trade, take a breather, walk away, and ALWAYS set a stop and stick to it. you can NOT be successful any other way - you can be lucky, but not successful.

yeah I know. Sometimes easier said than done. I usually do that.
Might be best to get out or at least cover 1/2 or so.

agree. Right now IMO there is no trade. As most of the traders on here are saying, wait till you see a confirmation of movement. I don't see one right now... I think a short may be in the works soon, but it needs confirmation.. It's been testing 1.45 for 3 days now..
