Guys any idea's for tonight's course of eur/usd ? My short @ 1.4445 hit SL and now i need get my pips back

I'm looking at H1 and there's still place for going short, but it seems like other market players want to go north. What are your thoughts?

I'm looking for another test of the daily pivot point at 1.4420 to enter a long position. Yellen is considered one of the most dovish members of the Fed and a strong supporter of quantitative easing.

Also, we are way too close to the major psych level 1.5000 to not touch it IMHO.

euro/dollar going up to the first resistance 1.5000, the PP is a good support, good time to continue with the long.

This recent drop in crude and subsequent strength in the US dollar is likely attributed to Goldman Sachs' recent sell off of their basket of commodities, the CCCP (crude, cotton/soybeans, copper, and platinum)

lol, was just thinking the same thing... Just noticed you started a trading Journal here Archie. How's that working out for you so far? I started two and never got past a few posts in them

I like to use off applications like myfxbook to do the number crunching and history for me.

just tinkering with system design and using it as a journal for testing & ideas, basing a mechanical system around Magix MA/MACD system, still very early stages atm and didn't help that today was tight range chop, although would have worked very well for scalp entries...

How's your trading coming along?

It's been doing pretty good, albeit slow. I have found I am starting to get extremely worn out trying to scalp Asia. I havn't been able to get any new swing trades started as well. It would be nice if these currencies would stop powering one direction for the time being... lol. I've never been a fan of starting swing trades mid or near the end of a move.

Last week the only one I really took was the swissy short, and I ended up closing that out on Friday afternoon for 100. Probably shouldn't have, but I get nervous leaving positions open during the weekend.

This euro should start to get a decent retrace in soon, but I could honestly see this going up to 1.5 as well. But it's got to get through this supply zone first.

Let her lead the way... i'm just here to follow it where ever it goes.
