The FX35Guru we have work for it. All you need to do is to set in those parameters to true. Then you go to email tab from tool -> option to set in your smtp server and login details. I hope this help

You will first go to FXGURU_3535Indicator and set AlertsEmail and AlertsSound to true. Select your favourite sound.

Then goto tool option email tab for smtp server setting. You will have to check from ur mail provider for the settings. eg. mail.gmail.com. You will also enter the login credentials.

This is sample Email I received from the Indicator after setting the configuration.

Isn't the fxguru35 when price closes 35 pips beyound the the candle that closes thru the 35sma?

Well, I don't understand what you are talking about. I told you what exactly I have used it to achieve but you don't bother to read it or test before you condem it. I even gave a sample mail I recieved from it. You said you need when price cross and close above/below 35 right? It works for both cross and 35 pips beyond. (sample mail I received EURUSD M15 at 1.4282 3535 Cross Down)

Ok let try this. Open a yahoo mail and give me the the logon details and let me configure and you will recieved mail when prices cross and close above/below 35.

Requires a lot of self-discipline to accept a loss and move on, I have already lost a live account trying to learn to trade but I can see now that I knew nothing when I started one year ago. Hopefully things will be different now.

I just wanted to share some info I got today. I have a lot of dealings with GE Capital at work and it just so happens they had a conference call today talking about currency and commodities. They have strong feelings that $ will continue to weaken until first quater 2013 when they believe we will raise rates. They are looking for Euro zone and UK to raise rates by .75% by years end. That they believe will push eur/usd up to 1.53 area. They are expecting gbp/usd to go to 1.7000. It was a very interesting conference call but we know things can change at any minute. They also are expecting the yen to strengthen short term due to insurance companies buying the yen to pay claims but long term the yen will weaken because of huge cost to the government for clean up and rebuild. Take it for what its worth , just thought I would share.

Not to spam, since I posted this on kenneth lees thread as well. But for those who dont read it here is an example of one approach to playing key areas with some action on the cable, how I do my trading anyways

Thanks for that, ever useful to get a longer term perspective.

I personally don't think we (UK) will raise rates by as much as that by the end of the year but I do suspect it will be 1/4 or a 1/2 % higher by Christmas. Guess that's the thing with economics, nobody really knows the future.
