commodities have gone up verses usd... causing inflation in the u.s. as well as ez. they threaten to raise borrowing cost at ecb. this anticipation of a raise further pushes up commodity prices. further raising inflation in the u.s. and ez, do to anticipation of a ecb raise. where does it stop?

not sure where it stops....but there sure was a nice stop volume price bar on the euro that I am watching - stopped at .4323

The difference between technical and fundies tecs happen in front of you now ,fundies are like a background view .Thats how i use them.

Kind of look at were oil has been over a period of days /weeks ,if it maintains the levels then when the petrol stations next stock up they will pay more for the petrol/diesel. you will pay more ,trucking firms pay more everything they deliver goes up ,the factories that make stuff need fuel ,so delivery and manufactoring go up.

US imports the vast majority of oil ,everything they make is dearer ,exports suffer ,dollar down.

What fundies do hour by hour doesnt matter as much as what they do over a sustained period of time .
If oil had popped $100 and returned down it would have little impact.
But its sustaining these levels and rising ,thats the background i use with other fundies to keep me in or out of trades.

Make no mistake bud ,
The only reason eur looks good is because its traded against other paper currency .
If you have any money dont hold either currency for too long .

Buy something physical .

$1 today can buy at current prices $1 worth of stuff
With inflation set to rise further, $1 will likely not be enough to buy the same stuff.
Same with euro/pound.

Hold £10.00 for 1 year
Or hold £10.00 worth of sugar ,oil, gold, lead in fact virtually anything ,you will be able to buy a lot more when you sell your oil,sugar ect.
Than you would if you held the paper £10.00.

How much has your supermarket shop for the week rose in 10 years.
Now compare .
How much has your wages risen in last 10 year.

Think you will find as simple example you cannot afford today what you could afford even 10 years ago.
And not by a small amount either .
Ok to speculate in but buying power in either is tanking fast.

is it working? go back to 900 usd an ounce for gold.. see how many euros it was then... compare it or other commodities. you will c its not just the usd losing value verses commodities. time line the eu then... u may be surprised
