specting a new high again, i think we are looking that 1.4330-1.4340, really slowly. There would be a huge profit taking there.

Depends on timeframe but this pair has many long legs if you can stay in for them.

May last year 400 pip days were not uncommon check for yourself.Hold your position for 2 days continues you could easily be in a 600-800 pip leg.

01/07/10 and 11/08/10 both days had 400 pips !!
making green pips large and red pips small this is my goal.

I suggest buying EU form 1.4287 until 1.4388 then form there we would re-assess.
Reason for buying:
4hr demand channel play.

Mate I agree with you general comments but small detail the 2 days you are quoting there are MAJOR FA events driven by fear and mania (QE2 and Debt) which are not the norm.... good luck today.

Just woke up, profit still there? Closed 137pips. Risking short at 3304 SL 22 target and look to get long around 4222.

there are strong resistance in 1.4326, 1.4338, 1.4360, 1.4377 , 1.4406 &1.4447.
i believe breaking this level not easy,and soon we see sharp retrace and falling.

Well, the euro finally did what its been trying to do for weeks now... and thanks to the asian session. If there was no asian session im sure we would still be ponsing around the restistance at the London session with all the theaves taking money away from the retail brokers...

As retail traders, when we buy or sell, the broker will go opposite... thats why we lose so much... notice that when you buy, 90% of the time it will go immediately the oppsite way... strange that isnt it?

I hate the London session and try to ignore it completely, and just go with the previous asian sessions price changes- you'll see the trend there

Some people are saying the rate rise is priced in already... Thats because they want your money! yes, they want to rate to go down so they can buy buy buy tomorrow...

The reason of no profit is because you are not buyin into the OBVIOUS.

I just feel that if more of us can aim for bigger positions than 20 pip plays and scale down size, aiming for a small leg on bigger t/f ,of say 100 pips minimum .

Our brokers and market makers dont have the same power over a 100 pip view point that they have on a 20 pip view point .

120 atr it can have 2 down days and have no effect what so ever on trend .Thats 240pips From a 1400pip up move thats not even 20% retrace .

Keep monitoring interest rates policies both us and eur, oil high putting pressure on dollar, The major indices ,=sp500,nasdaq, dow,up or strong then that helps us up.

20 pip moves are like monitoring the molecules in your body to see if your gonna fart .
When more informed people know you just ate a full can of beans ,ok you might not fart immediately but you will .No matter what your molecules tell you.

Monitor the beans ,the stronger the beans the more sproutier and strong the fart.
making green pips large and red pips small this is my goal.

This makes me feel a lot better about the short i took on the G/U.
Watching the 20 pip retracements are a horrible past time.
