Hey guys, I just get the hell out of this pair @84.68. 250+ pips in profit is not bad, huh. However, I won't make this mistake again. Wait for three days to earn more 50 pips is just crazy. My heart was nearly freeze when it dropped below 83.90 yesterday (I thought: "fuck this pair, don't take my profit away again"). I def. get in again when it goes up to 85.1xxx and stay there for couple of days and watch out these momentum indicators and future volume.

Good luck for those who still in this pair, both long/short. God bless ya all.

Hi buddy....some fundamentals:smooth resistence at 85.91, second at 88, economists said will show European retail sales increased and U.S. service industries expanded, reducing demand for Japan’s currency as a refuge, technical: if you see any usdjpy chart the 84, broked the channel......
so the 90 goal is getting closer.....yesterday was a normal pullback....be on track again soon or youll regret it....

Hats off the the G-7. Almost up 900 pips since their announcement to intervene. So much for cooridinated interventions not working.

It is amazing, isn't it? All the yens have reacted in the way one would expect, based on the massive wicks formed. But the sudden yen weakening - in light of it strengthening through the initial shock of the disaster just seems too textbook IMO. I don't see the yen falling for too much longer - smart money doesn't turnaround this quickly IMO. There has also been much more support given to the yen crosses than I think we have been led to believe - we're not likely to find the true behind-the-scenes financial support anytime soon. But heck, I will live without that knowledge, as long as we can continue to profit by riding coattails. Personally I am in awe of GBPJPY's and EURJPY's progress.

It's not going to get to 90, I'll wait for a good sell signal and short the pair. QE2 is going to continue, JPY is a safe haven currency, I'll wait for this to turn, some time before the weekend I expect, back to 8,200 in no time.
I'm watching this currency so closely I'm using windows magnifier

Hey guys,

I put some buy stop at 84.90 and 85.08 and now I get 30 pips profit when I sleep. I gonna take it right now because it's a god gift. Really, I put them there without thinking or analyzing. Thanks god for this gift

We are trader buddy, we should have no bias about the price. If I am you, buddy, I ain't gonna short it at those level. If this bull is strong enough, it will trigger a HUGE stop loss after crossing the level and your account will burn in hell, buddy.

sell orders reported at 85.50...

I hope this time is true, because if we short again at 85.50 and it keeps reaching new all time highs, then it will hit again SL.

I entered on March 16th on the 5min chart but transferred the trade to the 4h chart, lets see this gets me.

Never play against the trend, right now is an uptrend and is the big long journey remember?, beware of the 85.91 some resistence there,put some sl but not to much, the first goal (90) is near.....

Are you still long USDJPY ? As you can SEE it's reversing right now.

Unfortunately nobody saying anything about it. Only AFTER everything happened, people talk and gives explanations with the day after tomorrows newspaper.

No I have cross plays on atm.. Short Aud/JPY.. Its a counter trade.. will be bailing after serious breach of 88.00

The trend in USD/JPY up.
Today I suggest you look to get them in ard 84.70 85.30 shud cap.

USDJPY is going down right now, it looks like it found many stop losses at 85.20.

I'm surprised tho, that nobody has posted anything in this thread in the last 40 minutes. Are you guys not trading? Just wondering.

Yes the trend has been UP all day for U-J, however it was going to find some stop losses somewhere, between .20 and .50...
