I took this short on USDCAD. Does the entry seem reasonable?

For me it does. :-)

Maybe some finetuning on SL and TP.
Maybe consindering SL to move above DR1 & whole number 0,9700
TP I would place some pips above DS1,too. Maybe 0,9632.

One thing to watch: the central Pivot line is quite near to the entry point...
