Disliked...On the other hand, you have folks like Cloggie, Magix, Taranuntla and manic like Redsword who went truly mental this weekend and last week too. There is a common theme here among these posters. They seek constant attention and if they don't get it they will write self-congratulatory posts quoting themselves, usually out of context in an disingenuous attempt to appear better than they really are. If you look at the posts of these people 9 times out of 10 they are quoting themselves.
You try and point out any of their mistakes then they will...Ignored
Firstly, I have learned a GREAT deal from the people you are complainning about when I first started out. It's because of them that I'm able to be an overall profitable trader. They've taught me great ways to stay in the safety zones and after over a year I've now made up all that I've lost.
What you call "attention seeking" I call sharing there viewpoints and telling what they see and what they think is going to happen.I ask you, would you rather go at a $3 trillion/day market with just your noob perspective, or get opinions/viewpoints from traders who've been at it for a while?
And when you see traders quote themselves(like I just did) they are showing how there prediction turned out. By the way, if you do look at how there trades turned out, what do you see? I see that most of the time they were correct, and if not, they explain what they saw,how it wen't wrong, and alot of times ask someone who saw something different in the trade and got it right how they approached it.
If you look back to I think around the holidays when it was a triple-witching day where magix, ctic, and myself had a little discussion about a trade where this happened.
Rather than "try to point out there mistakes" I suggest you realize that you or anyone else aren't exactly in the position to be able to point out anyone's mistakes. When you try to point out someone's mistakes you are basically saying "I'm the authority of this market and what I say is always correct."Instead of pointing out mistakes, you should politely offer a different view and ask for feedback. Or ask them why they see something the way they do.But just don't say they are flat out wrong, because you have no proof! Even if their trade didn't work out the way they said, it's not to say that the same exact setup wouldn't work in their favor the next time it comes up.
I honestly think you may have just had a bad day trading and wanted to vent, because otherwise, you look really bad showing up outta the blue and taking shots at traders who others like me have learned from.
