just watch the pundits. the way to go was get a job, invest in your 401K, IRA etc. and you'll retire a millionaire. you will also be almost dead by then, they fail to tell you. then it was investing in your house. we all know what happened with that. now they come back and sell you books telling you SAVE is the "new cool". you buy that, and they get rich. it's all BS, nothing matters except what YOU do, the money in the bank (while they're worth something, but BB's taking care of that too). it's all a ponzi scheme, one after another. be on your toes and always a contrarian. just like trading. you cut your loss so you can fight another day.

I've got it at 53% of it's AWR so it would make more sense to go up rather than down given that it's near the top of it's range rather than the bottom. Of course, it doesn't have to complete it's average weekly range and how often does this market make sense anyway? I note that A/U has whacked it's weekly range already @ 104%. Everything is looking nice and green on the equity markets as well.
Also going to be interesting to see COT later on tonight

Had some good trades in ASX this morning, too bad Im still sitting here watching EU crappechino not moving...

Just thinking that if we are expecting E/U to go up 100 odd pips and A/U follows suit it will break it's high of the year

Is it just me or was Greenspan able to move the market far more than Bernanke ever has? Maybe my memory serves me incorrectly but it seemed that any time Greenspan spoke (when he was Fed Head) the market went into a spin.

True it spun every which way. Bennie and the Inkjets not much at all.
Although he hasn't been able to play with rates like Greenie did.
I guess the conferences will be helpful in preparing the market for the eventual rate hikes. Bennie bores me though. Much prefer watching Trichet. At least he tries to have a joke with the journalists even if it's not funny.

Actually the last 10 hours other than one blip that widen the range to a big whopping 30 pips.
