I've not taken a trade on it for a while now. Think I should have done over the last few days because nothing has happened on USD/JPY lol.

You know how sometimes you can see a candle, or candles and you know what will happen next? The low on the Swissy at 89.80 in the M15, M30 and H1 were all in agreement.....the candles were saying 'this is the turning point', although it could very easily turn back again. Anyhow, I took the long and when the stop was at be I went to sleep.When I woke I moved the stop to +50 and went out for the day. I just closed it at R1 for +235. I don't normal trade in such a sloppy mannar....perhaps I should!

Hey realjumper, how have you been doing? Hopefuly everything is well.
Like you I am staying out of the Swissy for now but I want back in so bad, but is this my conservative side telling me to sit on the sidelines for now but I am still watching that PAIR very closely. Looking forward to hear if your outlook should change in the near future. As for me I will not SHORT the USD/CHF under no circumstances but I do not feel it time to go LONG at the present time either. But that day is coming and I am looking forward to it.
What do you think about this trading range this PAIR has been in here in the last week? I have actually stated taking some Shorts here, a first since last Fall, for small PIPS as well as Longs for small PIPS. But damn, they do add up.
Something has got to give way here soon. Which way? I wish I knew. Longer term I am convinced it will hit 86 and may bee push back up to 90. Short term, hell, I'm scared this PAIR my drop a couple hundred PIPS overnight which would only give me a reason to go Long.

As for Swissy I am pretty much out unless I see something that's worth the risk. The recent low was worth a shot. In the longer term it will go up, but risk aversion is very much the name of the game so Swissy and Yen are the current 'flavours of the moment'. Nothing we can do except wait and not get sucked in to making stupid trades.
I'm more inclined to trade Swissy than Yen pairs at the moment, I don't feel comfortable going either way on UJ....especially in this mickey mouse range. I still see UJ at 100, not sure when, but I'm pretty sure it's coming. In the meantime, nothing to do except keep your capital safe, and swoop on any opportunities that slap you in the face!!!!

movement was LESS than 20 pips these 2 days... consolidating for eruption
Very predictable range as that, well nothing is very predictable, but the tight range has been very kind.
Something has got to give soon and when it does I believe it will be huge. Great potential for big profits...great potential for big losses.
