Oil firms; protests spread to Syria

Syria is seeing growing protests today, along with Yemen and Bahrain. Markets remain nervous that he protests will spread to Saudi Arabia in a major way…
Front-month crude is up $1.17 to 103.50.
All else being equal, rising oil tends to support EUR/USD.

It was a perfect bounce. Just draw a channel. Screw lesser TFs. They cheat.

3-ple bottom and doji vs support. Also it was 4189 a place to long at....So its 60 40 probability to go up.

I called it @ 4191. Watch the channel middle. It needs to thrust 4216 for a further up. Its a good place to scale out and keep the rest for intraday profit

Well, I trade on the shorter TFs because I want to feel like I'm actually working. I figure more effort = more $ as opposed to making a trade and sitting on my ass watching it when I could be making entries at dips/spikes. Funnily enough, I make the biggest profits when I through in only a single lot a opposed to the usual 5-6 and leave it running overnight. It's just that I can't sleep when I do that and I get neurotic from sleep-deprivation.

I've been following red's thread for a while, but they trade so many different pairs that it's hard...
Tin foil is cheap and you can google some pretty styling hats on the interwebs, don't let this little obstacle keep ya from learning...lol

Throw it onto a chart and see if it makes sense to ya. Infinitely, I advocate for people learning stuff for themselves, it does solidify the knowledge...but reading a few passes don't hurt much either.

Hey, if it don't make any sense to ya or if ya see no value, chuck it out and look for something that does...I been at this game a few years and still continue to watch from different angles.

haha, at one point i wanted to press the button but i wasn't sure. so i didn't do anything.

but... if 4217 gets taken out, you can be sure i'll be loading longs lol.

and judging form pa... doesn't seem like it wanna go up right now.

Yes, we have dropped below daily support and have not tested for resistance.

The longer tfs are still favoring the bulls, shorter says we hitting bear country and the immediate says we are bucking resistance all the way back to the turn of day.

I never really saw what I would call true signs of reversal here, so this could just be a little shakedown before the next topside attack...

1m will always be my fav chart, really, it don't take much to enter and exit trades...the other tfs create significant areas of trend targets...

I use higher TF for longer trends but for scalping, I'm on M5 and place my trades on 1M charts.
I re-enter long when it tested 1.4183 for the 4th time.
Just closed it now at 1.4209.
