no, I mean nothing wrong with any approach. I just don't like to build a bias in my head. yeah, i have my opinions but i'm also ready to throw them away immediately. in other words, i just don't like to wait for an h1 bar to close to enter a trade. there are plenty of opportunities on the lower TFs while the higher close. and btw, on a trend/direction change the lower TFs are the first to show it, so you are on the right side of the trade either way, and made some pips in the process.

I think the best approach is to trade what you see on your charts and ALWAYS use a stop loss. Actually I use two ( a mental and a hard stop). Most importantly, expect the unexpected and reserve the right to change your mind at any given time.

I just checked my handy, dandy, Oanda demo platform (like McDonalds drive-thru, they never close) and the last hour has seen 66 to 91 action.

Now, they have a 10 pip spread, but it's the volatility, not the tradability, that's of interest. Normal weekends, they're as quiet as Uncle Buck after a few beers and a turkey sandwich in his favorite chair after church.

Could be a roily-boily start in Asia. Of course, YYMV.

My 2 cents in the discussion. Lower TL and FiboExp. Just something to think about...

Whatever happens on Monday it'll be interesting to watch.
