Just heard, Gaddafy Duck is threatening to attack civilian targets in the Med, hasn't Cloggie gone there for the week?

Yes, he did. But probably more like Spain, or the Blue Coast would be my guess. Italy is probably most at risk of retaliation, because the air bases being used are there.

Might this be the opening call for E/U tomorrow night?

EDIT: To resolve ambiguity, that aircraft was Libyan.

Agreed. Libya will almost certainly be totally shut in, but the Arab League has blessed this little adventure, and OPEC will likely say they will make up the difference, but then, it's OPEC...

I'm hedging by filling the tanks with $3.20/gal tonight.

I'm not saying we should put ground troops in but I think it's a mistake telling him we will not. It's like revealing half of your cards. This is not how you wage war. You think a thousand times if you should, but if you do, you go all in. You overwhelm the enemy and you finish him in the shortest amount of time possible. So we'll see but it seems to me like a half ass approach so far.

I had my fun with the oil futures throughout the week

This is why im watching them. I also called that move to 4.1 on Gas futures like 2-3 weeks ago if i remember correctly, i think i got called a moron for that but oh well Out on most positions now anyways.

It will be interessting to see how the Libya situation resolves itself, curbed japanese demand and a dampening of the supply available due to Libya not producing additional 2.6 million BPD and Brazil refusing to exploit and or tap into their reserves. Saudis can only produce extra crude for so long until they start shooting up the prices.

Will watch this patiently, but to be honest the absolute winner of the week was Wheat futures which skyrocketed of demand. Also Soybean futures are looking so amazing right now

Their air force (which was moved south to the Sahara and may still largely exist at this moment) had many French Mirages. In fact, that plane in flames is a Mirage, I believe.

But retracements from the sharp breaks of the week before. There were limit downs then, and no limit ups on the rallies this last week; corn was an even bigger rebounder, with one -and nearly two- heavily bid limit moves.

If they had not rebounded, I'd really be bearish on E/D, but they did, so I'm much more neutral.

I only took a scalp on wheat futures and took a trade on soy futures from 1332.80 and took it out at 1341 so i was happy with those results especially since a gold trade of mine payed off so did my silver shorts.

I saw what happened on Corn but i failed to take the trade:

Put my orders in the lower demand zone, first one lookedl like a trap but i was so busy with other instruments.. i only have a macbook air to trade from right now since my desktop pc broke down, so there is only so many charts you can watch

Nice one on the corn if you took it though
