It seems that with these recent unpleasant events in Japan a lot of people in here forgot that there is still a major crisis in EU, add to this Libya’s with many other Middle Eastern countries' issues and you get strong fundamental picture in favor of USD. I personally think it’s very risky time to open up Euro long positions at. For me it’s time to build short positions. Just my opinion, However I’m not a scalper on this one. :nerd:

If you look at Bull which started last year June to make trade decisions now, you are as good as dead. So many things changed since then, and so many will from now. As long as you are playing with borrowed money, you need to concentrate on now, unless ofcourse you are trading cash on cash (zero leverage). Monthly, Weekly and Daily should be just for referance and not for plpaciing trade decisions. By the time they close chhances are high that a move has been dead and gone. Unless you are like stupid legion of banks who got no clue what they are doing, except ofcourse their coffers never seem to reach the bottom (but we will see). Play smart like game of chess, or for toddlers like me, like pac-man puzzle.

How far back to you look for high/low? A set distance? That's my only question.
find a C on a big tf.. if your lucky a fib from your daily weekly r monthly will be close. this with strengthen it. (trend lines also) you have to learn candles.. i use a 1m for entry then a 5 to confirm.. but my daughter uses even smaller tf.. if you get a green light to enter in a tf like a 1m your sl will be very tight... but if you risk 4 pips at 1/2 or 1 %... each 4 pips in the green is that much.. you also should use 1 indi only to show overbought/sold....rsi is good.. higher tf showing possible entries helps you pinpoint entry be more successful.

pay attention to all larger tf candle closes and wick tips. put them on your chart (levels).. you will c bounces there and your smaller candles and the indi will help you chose the better ones. intraday 1 hour , 4h 8h 12, day are important closes .. pay attention to cloggy for breakouts.. support and resistance will trump a candle at times. in other words a candle dont mean shit if s/r is so close.. the move cant get momentum

The first time I mentioned 4170 is this morning when I said that's where we are going, second was when somebody was shorting there I said will be retested. Both proved accurate.

Still holding my short and it didn't pick my sell limit at 4186 yet. If this going down i'm gonna have to watch 4138, 4074, 4032 ..... whoa, a lot of brakes to the downside
