The USDJPY drop to 76.70 is HUGE! Its like a stab in the heart of long usdjpy position.

But honestly, what is the big STOP on USDJPY? this drop is most certainly a stop hunt; if the stop is hunted, it will resume back up.

Unfortunately, there is something HUGE to be announced within a few mins.. wonder if its ultra BAD news = resume usdjpy selling... but im sure its already priced in in that last drop

What? All time low was at 79.25 and it smashed it. If it was a stop hunt, it would not have dropped that much. I think you will find it was lack of liquidity. As has already been explained, there is big demand for JPY but the supply was lacking and with the lack of liquidity, price dropped like a stone in the space of 15 minutes once the all time low was taken out. Who wanted to sell JPY when the all time low was taken out? The other JPY pairs just followed! I wouldn't be surprised if it was the BoJ who came in at 76.25

Stop hunting during low liquidity then.

Of course there was huge demand for JPY
Add unscrupulous traders (stop hunters) during Low Liquidity
equals one huge move.

If it was just JPY demand, then it would have stayed at the bottom @ mid 76.xx. The rise back to 78.00 within a few minutes suggests to me of buy back from stop hunters and opportunists buyers (buy at the dip).

Yes Burger King you're right. But bankruptcy is only one way to call the situation in Japan, anyway to recover the country has to invest much, much money, because of the nuclear risk, the BOJ intervention, refugees, U.S. banks closing, etc. I do not want to continue.... so right now I'm in bankruptcy, the time when i will be 300 pips positive, i will write down too ...
