Realistically speaking JPY should be at 200 to USD right now.

Right now it's all about emotions and stop losses..

You have to roll with punches in this business man. Whether any move is manipulation or not, all you have to do is be on the right side of it. To be long on this pair since the disaster in Japan is just crazy......and every chart was saying so.

Put it behind you man.....take a day off and come back a little wiser tomorrow

If this continues both Japan and Swiss will go broke, before anybody else..

How the f* Swissy will sell their product to anyone with that exchange rate? Forget it, their import DEAD.

Man I like this! If you have several positions open at like 100-150 pips interval, ones 1 of them in profit, grab the money

and open another one lower. Like a spider Net.. Hope they fix backup power for the nuke plant overnight..

World-wide stock market depend on that..

What's the point of allowing any trade to go hundreds under water?? That's not trading or investing.....it's stupidity.

Looks like my prediction was right! Found out that Japan's Debt with the US sores more than their reserves. This means that Japan had to SELL OF their dollars.

I am so glad I finished my trade before leaving my computer. 3k pips in one hour? That is beyond phenomenon. congrats to those who have made a boat load, and for those who lost their account, don't give up, it is just a learning curve.

You are correct, it hasn't been for a bit now and it should be traded accordingly. And it definitely isn't the market for an admittedly low SL.

Normally I would expect some of this ‘gap’ to be closed over the next day or so but we may need a bit of help from the BOJ to get that done

Well I have no gap on my charts at all, so I'm not sure what he means when he says that. The interesting point though, is whether intervention will come. IMO, if BOJ have a crack at it themselves they might fail, as solo intervention usually does. However, BOJ might get some sympathy from other central banks and if they can get enough on board, then intervention might stand a chance. With the Swissy where it is at the moment, BOJ won't be a lone voice.

hey has anyone noticed that the usd/jpy just dropped to the low .76's...does anyone know whats going on with this pair? Help a newbie out...thanks

I am losing 1500 bucks right now, i cant understand whats going on....every single bad new from Japan is better for the yen......

Well, I really don't care how you call it. I'm making money that's all it is

Pair 150 pips above where my last buy was, I took the profit and

place that Limit buy down there again (but little bit lower).. Look tomorrow and learn...

You guys are pip flippers a.k.a scalpers.. I have not one open buy but 3-5-7 (placed like a NET every 80-100-150 depends on the situation),

ones lowest are in profit, I take it and place those

Limit Buys lower again,.. Cannot lose of course I do not use 1 lot orders, (well it can be used but with like $200k account)

instead I use 0.10 lots 1$/pip, for like 25-30k account it's safe bet..

No stop loss no lose.. Cause I cannot watch forex screens 24/7

as I have to take care of my Stock trading, Good luck with your

"stop losses" make sure you not "stop loss" all your account by pieces..

I'm sure that guy, who's stepped out earlier pooling up his hair by now..

we are at 78.50 and rising..

this is funny, lots of people were shorting the usd-jpy saying that it will reach 75 and now its going up again.. hitting lots of stop losses of those guys.

dude, i really dont know how can someone make a living with the current situation.
