This has been a good one ... and timing has been nice as well ...

I did first a little bit too early ...

But later I re-loaded long again ... at 1.3864 ... with a limit order ...

And did not watch it then for a while until we got to 1.3953 and 1.3969 area ...

Unfortunately unwinded a bit too early ...

Thanks for your answer Sisse,

I was positionned the same as you, entered long at 1.3950 but closed at 1.3982. I also realized i was not well positioned for FOMC and did not want to loose any hard earned pips - part of my anti-greed training (not that i'm saying you are greedy doing this, it's just a flaw I have discovered while trading that I need to work on

There is no point on bailing out before FOMC now. Just tight stops (as I am not positioned in the proper place for a report move) after this M30 close and let the noise of reports decide my trade. Is too late for changing my TA and FA outlook, I did my homework TA and there is nothing I can do except wait for my forecast to pans out.

Given the weekend "gap", monday highs in play are not that clear around 1.398x (that why some selling appeared as soon as it tick up and down) and they were made overnight (no Tokyo, Frank, London or US) I am targeting yst highs 1.400x as a 2nd target and is also last H4 R (a few ticks below). Well, I am not wasting this nice opportunity to close the 2nd target and trade FOMC in zero risk mode. Closing second a couple of ticks below target and in happy mode for reports.

I'm not sure why it stops updating every day but it does. I think it stops around midnight until 4.00 or 5.00 am in the morning (UK time). Currencies are non-stop though during the week.
Nothing worth having is easy.

If this pops 14040 the stops will be enough to see 1.4100.

1.4003 will be 100% reversal
making green pips large and red pips small this is my goal.

Relax. The market is what it is. And you can't get better odds than 50/50 As for the forum, it's just for being social, sharing ideas and having a laugh.

Now I must go and do something with that thing in the kitchen that gets hot.

The statement’s out. Bond purchase program stays the same. No reference to japan. Extended period language stayed in the statement. But the language on the economy seems a bit more robust: “Information received since the Federal Open Market Committee met in January suggests that the economic recovery is on a firmer footing, and overall conditions in the labor market appear to be improving gradually.”
