DislikedYou can read the Oanda forum, there is quite a bit of whining about it too. Duct-taping MT4 to an existing solution rarely appears to work very good. Dukas apparently gave up on this. Its more of a workaround than anything else. MT also seems to attract this certain kind of high-maintainance clients, where i wonder if its really worth the business.Ignored
DislikedThanks, I will read about it there. LOL, do you think that a client that demands to be able to change TP and SL is high maintenance?Ignored
DislikedI'm very interested in this question as well. With the loss of that much data, I won't be able to trust some of my methods for at least 2 more days, and with some, it will be even more than that. Being up and running is a start, but the way my charts are now, I don't have the information that I need to trade.Ignored
DislikedDuffypratt and goldsurfer,
My understanding is that all you need to do is do a manual refresh of a chart and it will come up fine without gaps. You will probably have to refresh for each symbol/timeframe combo. Let me know what symbol and timeframe doesn’t work and I will look into it.Ignored

DislikedPerhaps he used the wrong wording because they cost him money, but the result is the same. If he/she in fact lost the money solely b/c of the prolonged glitch, then intentional or not, he/she lost the money and $20 credit is not good enough.
For the people that lost money only b/c of the outage, coming back online and simply stating we are back, everything is working great now is not enough, because if you allow that to habitually happen, it will continue to happen. That is what they always do, clean their hands saying it's somebody else's fault...Ignored
DislikedCan someone please give me a specific example where we "stole your money?"
We have a bunch of fills that executed just fine and reported back into Meta at the correct price after the issue was resolved. I'm talking about trades that executed while we were down. Everyone is getting the proper fills.Ignored
DislikedWwwin,
“because if you allow that to habitually happen, it will continue to happen”
Although we have had two issues inside a week, we hadn’t had issues prior to that for a long time. I don’t think you can call anything about this “habitual.”
“That is what they always do, clean their hands saying it’s somebody else’s fault”
Actually, that’s not true at all. We’re still investigating this one, to be honest, and it isn’t at all clear what happened. What you don’t seem to accept...Ignored

Since there is Demo environment, isn't all the updates from others should go to demo first before going to production. It should never go to production environment right away without the testing...It is just NOT the right way to do the business if the updates was not tested yet. It will causes alot pain for clients. Regardless who's fault, it is problem causes the client for downtime...I think reputation was MORE important which i choose MBT primary compare to ATCBroker. If next time, I see same problem 'cause of update...Ignored
DislikedWell big problem closing the order from yesterday....had to call in and wait and while waiting lost 5 pips, of course, they dont care and act agitated for having to close it manually, while I am the one losing the pips...so eventhough they say everything is fine earlier 8 hours ago...it is not for an order opened yesterday...of course they don't give a sh***t., its not their money.Ignored
Dislikedit is even worse...I just found out they close all my 8 positions. I called and spoke to Eric...He said he was working on other account problem and will get back to me...
It is very sad if they can't fix my account properly...and my balance totally mess up as well
