a quick question ---to enter a trade does the candle need to close free of the scout/probe line or can an entry be justified on a break only of the scout line

thanks for a great thread
its the only point i need clarified and i will be using this method as it has great backtest results esp on cad pairs for some reason

Glad you have joined us and happy you have found the backtesting profitable. We added the close above/below the scout line because of so many false BOs since the first of the year. It is a more conservative entry with more confirmation of direction.
