DislikedI think the reason we had a stronger Yen at the market open was because of selling/short selling
on the Nikkei Exchange. As soon as investors realized their cash in Yen is valuable, they sold it to other currencies.
Would like to read about what you think,

DislikedReza,
I'm reminded of the movie "Knowing" with Nicolas Cage when the earth literally explodes
and the Dollar yen still doesn't move past 80.23 low. What the fuck has to happen
in order to break 80 yen? I'm starting to think it might be the sugar-plum fairy and
just let it go.Ignored
Dislikedyeah, i'm still waiting. i'd like to see a fakeout to the downside and then a leg up..but that's just me drawing my fantasy out ;P
this yen has been ranging too long on so much news.Ignored
DislikedReza,
It was a stop hunt.
Pre-asia was quiet with levels close to where we sit now, a little lower actually.
Anyway, those stops (under 8100) have sat there for nearly 4 months
(some also since the start of 2011) and had to get elected at some point.
This risk event was the opportunity to wipe those stops.
Now, a thinking person has to wonder about those sub 80 handle stops that have
been accumulating for, like, forever ! I dunno, like years and what will it take to
trigger those stops ?

What a movie! If you search deeply, that movie has real anomalies. Unfortunately, the day (not the place) for this earth quake was predicted a while ago based on scientific evidence.Ignored
DislikedWell, we have the USD/JPY currently testing the 82.00 handle. I'm hoping this is a fake-outIgnored
DislikedOh I know, the ole' 3-11-11 thingy.
Well, I just kinda knew that date would mean more than my milk was getting old.Ignored
DislikedI've taken off some. moved the stop to just over break even, like 1 pip point something
on the rest and will let it do whatever. If this wasn't the time and place, so be it.
And if it goes, either way, that's the way it is. Will not fight and argue with the market.
Still have a 82.87 target.
Maybe later today or maybe tomorrow.Ignored

edit:
son of a bitch.Ignored
DislikedLooks like we've done almost the same thing. I've closed out most of my remaining lots though I've lost some potential profit. My remaining I've put my stop at a tiny bit above breakeven.
Where is this selling coming fromIgnored
