Thats right my friend, these are no experts....if they were they would not run around those shows and spew their nonsense, they would be making money trading...but as long as the sheep believe they are "experts", they are a very valuable political tool for those that own this grand casino.

I bought EUR this morning 13761 TP 13830. Lots of support levels down there. I've been focusing on the higher time frames to make my moves now. We slingshot out of the abc down into the higher time frame up wave, squeak. Simples.

While I was watching the devastation in Japan on Bloomberg early this afternoon they went to a trader on the floor at the Exchange before the markets opened and he said that the bulls wouldn't want to lose the 1,300 level on the S&P going into the weekend but, if they did, he expected a sharp sell-off at the end of the day. I think the S&P was at 1,295 or so at that stage. Needless to say, the bulls won.
Nothing worth having is easy.

I enjoy reading the posts about the muppets. Although I don't claim to know anything with confidence and I am still trying to understand all there is to know about forex. Sometimes I feel like a puppet and like the story of Pinocchio, I want to be a real boy. ha ha ha

Money and aid will be sent to Japan. Oil will be uncertain (as well as other commodities). Given the absents of normal trading in Tokyo,,,,,,,,, Any long term prognostication is likely to bite you in the a$$.

At this point the Dollar has lost some luster, but its still a means of transporting aid around the world. Transferring money from Dollars to Yen will move the Dollar and Yen as well as all cross pairs. The same is true of what the Yen are spent on, widgets from Australia will effect the AUD and all cross pairs. You get the point (abnormal order flow).

I'm not saying you should ignore what happens on your chart, but over runs in both shorts and longs are possible. Take it for what its worth but my opinion is more of a short term "take it as it comes" and get out.

Yes, True. Nothing is funny that costs lives. Sometimes foreced to think the little people build hopes and houses - sigh upon sigh and brick by brick - and then someone shakes a big hand to may be dust-off the sticking dust and everything comes crashing down - lives crushed out, hopes trampled...........build again.........not unlike this FX-GAME.

Just like in FX, most - 90% know nothing - they write to fill up the news pages and their Cyber-versions simply because that's where there breakfast and Lunch comes from - you can't expect wisdom from wage-earners and the joke is many Fundi-followers think they are in the presence of Economic-Gods - base their actions on what they read and come crashing.......If this was not so then many of the muppets writing in FF would be taken up as Governors BOE and BOJ and FED and all our problems would be solved ........

I remain hopeful they get this situation under control quickly, but we decided it was better to leave now, purely as a precautionary measure, so may be offline for a while, but we're ok.

if they have releaze radio active rays in your area it is better to stay away for a while.tc

yesterday i had a buy till evening market was diving and i was in red.....i started buying every 50-60 pips....finally market ,moved up and all my 5 position came up green...i closed all my position with 1500$ profit....so if your account is much bigger then u can also average it down.

averaging down is much better option then hedging.

I am sorry for your loss but you have now learnt something very important. Know when to take a loss...

All the other stuff you can play as much as you like with.... SL & TP and lot sizes...

Golden Tip:
If you want to make money trading and this goes with whatever you want to trade, stocks, futures etc...

1. You have to be dynamic in your trading if you want to survive longer than three months...

2. You have to listen to yourself and try it out with a small acc. or demo... Walking your own path...

3. Probably most important if you are trading intraday is to only be in a trade for around 10-20% of your trading day... If you are trading to frequent you are only "scalping" your acc.

On the other hand you can trade longer term and be in for the long howl.

There aren't too many scalping Intra though. Meaning that you are only in for a couple of seconds / few minutes....

looking at the 5min chart isnt scalping which I have seen many in here is saying.....
