When bad news happen investors PULL out of STOCK MARKETS thus boosting the CASH liquidity on the market and vice versa.
Japanese stocks tanked thus giving the boost to its currency.
One of my professors at the Economic University gave a simplest definition of a currency.
What is a definiton of a currency? Its simple = CASH.Ignored
