Yesterday I traded this long, from 0.9705 to 0.9748 for 43 pips. I see the asian session is all about resetting the price lower, presumably before another run higher. Currently the price is down to the highs of the previous range. I am looking for a SonicR long trade re-entry in this area. I am waiting to see if perhaps the asian session PPMs, or the Frankfurt Headfakers, might get PA somewhat lower. The Trend is slowly coming up, so maybe I can catch a re-entry price between the central pivot and the Trend, in the low 0.9730s.

As with UCad, the asian sessio traders seem bent on getting the price back down......obtain better pricing before the next run higher? Anyway, I have added to my SonicR long trade on this pullback to the whole number (and the original EP zone), making my EP average now 0.9313, per attached.

While the trrend down is new and fragile, there might be room for a SonicR long trade here. This has not had a pullback upwards following the run down yesterday, and so there might be a modest one today. Except for this not being the best hours to trade, we do see some of the elements of a SonicR long setup; we have a WAVE and the Dragon is angling up. PA is not above the Trend, so this counter trend entry (EP = 1.6074) is riskier.

hi took my first Sonic R trade today. I am only concerned about the timing since london open is still 1:30 hour away. TP @ around S2 which you can't see in the graph.

What do you guys think?

Is that valid sonic setup? is my TP1 not to far/close?

I took another Sonic short on USD/CAD. SL at R1. TP at S1 1.3704. Planning to move my Sl to break even now.
Any ideas?

I am in that long as well. However I think I chased the trade a little. 1.3825 area was a better entry level. What is your stoploss?

I took short on UJ based on a short setup.
Got whipsawed quite nicely.... ;-)

Maybe it helps someone to analyse.
In my opinion there is no way to avoid such events.
Putting no SL is not an option for me.

I am short an AU.
Based on latest L / LH PA + downward angeled dragon.
SL above red line

TP1 for first Half of posittion: 0,9952 (around blue line)
TP2: let it run for the second half

yeh, but there was no short setup I think, so I didn't went short here.
I think there was mistake to take that long as now I see that NVO was going down at moment when I placed buy stop

I'm still a bit confused with choosing right waves, puting right SL and TPs

No SL is slow suicide. I've been reading that SL has to be at least 80 pips for XXXJPY pairs
