Major move of the day has been done ...

Only four hours left until 'next value date' ...

Pivots on most important TFs can be observed here ... daily closing/clôture above 1.382xx level is possible ... we only still do hold lowest long entries for now ... which has been executed at 1.3795 ...

It is plainly astonishing how often your targets get met to the tenth pip
the last complete is the momentum.. the bounce one is a reversal target. if we dont hit the reversal target, last one that did hit still has the ball. in the reversal bounce its rare not to hit the mid. so mid and above is where i look for entry. many times you will notice we will miss target by a single pip.. many times we come back to get it.

Hi Sisse,

it is mainly a scalp. I cashed half of the position in when the spikes to the upper side around 3820 occured.

Sometimes I get into a scalp and then it develops into an intermediate position.

Regarding why I took that position:

The move up from the low @ 3791 looked impulsive, the swing down from 3824 was clearly corrective. So high chance of an ABC zigzag.

Turning point of the B wave was 3802, right @ 61.8 fib retracement of wave A. That should be my ideal point to build the position, but I was late because of an phone call. Target is 3835 to 3855

Secondary aspects were divergences in MACD on various TF's

I would agree w/ you above 3830 but so far it has proven tough.

1H divergence suggests a move to the upside. I'm thinking we are going to see a new high (eventually) , but for intraday players it's been a different ball of wax. Today's news out of China was a good excuse for profit taking, but honestly, lunar new year partying is a lot of fun but never very productive...lol

EU has developed a new pattern over the past few months that involves deeper corrections or sideways working off of over bought conditions which makes it difficult to call the smaller moves within the 130 range.

Tomorrow should be interesting. If it always ends on a question instead of an answer, where do you see it landing?

Lowest rate under INTERBANK MARKET CONDITIONS AND RULES has been taken at 1.3789 ...

Nur mal so am Rande bemerkt ... da die sich wohl eher kaum dafür interessieren möchten, was irgendwo ein Stinkeonlinebroker als Geschehen in seiner tollen Java-Inzest-History realisiert hat ...

Sorry ... nur mal so ein Gedanke ...

Can't see the DOW parking round this level though myself, so doubt the euro will stay here.

i took it at 3790.. and closed it.. i had a new bear target at 3775 and this move atm high about 3824.. we went back just now to 3802 (about the mid between 3775 and 3824) i will wait for 3775 because 77.15 may become major usx support. but if broken add about the same 25 pips to 3824 for a target..

Oh yes, that is the important part:

This trade is done on 1min TF. Right now very nice to observe, how even on 1min TF Kuomo (Ichimoku cloud) gets respect. Funny thing: there was one small gap in the cloud price could easily push through and it did (to the lower side).


My trades are normally judged with a view on 1, 5, 15, and 1h TF, so I have kind of MTF approach. Thus trading/scalping on 1min TF is not really only work on 1min TF.

your feed then, you sure it's set to rolling 24hr? don't use oanda personally but some of the others do...
