The EUR/USD falls sharply in late Asian trade after Moody's downgrades credit rating of Spain, renewing concerns about sovereign debt problems in the euro zone. Moody's lowers Spain rating by one notch to Aa2 and assigns a negative outlook. Stop-loss sales for the single currency were triggered at around 1.3850 and 1.3830, sending the EUR down as low as 1.3804; it is now at 1.3820. A currency strategist says European operators are regarded as the key sellers of the EUR. For the rest of the global trade, the pair is likely to be supported at 1.3750, while the upside could be capped at 1.3925, he adds

Looking for more downside test the 23.6 fib from low of 1/11 high 3/7

the yearly Fib is sitting right on the lower upwards tread-line
