its likelly that one way or another Ireland and Greece gonna go Bankrupt before they will be able to repay anything.The ECB can give bailouts and cash,but in reality the amounts that have to be repayed are impossible to make without completely hiking and destroying tax system for another 10-20 years.Anyway you have to live in the country and hear the news everyday to make sense of it ,but for most of people its just chewing popcorn in front of tv while watching war erupt in Africa.

Rating agencies are controlled by the banks. It would be like Lindsay Lohan being able to tell the tabloids they can only print positive articles about her. Any negatives ones and the papers won't get paid.

i fully understand it. it has made the euro go up in a bs move. by tightening bank standards and bailouts.. all pulled liquidity out of the ez.. in turn it has gone up. now whatcha gonna do? many forget 2008 was caused by a liquidity dry up.. and high oil... just before things surged. ecb kept raising.... now what?

if they dont pay... Germany will or lose in ratings... its worse today then 2008... in 2008 tll now germany has helped bring them to this point.
take away liquidity and german rating if they don't pay... and what is in store for 2011/12

Once the reality gonna hit the most people ,euro gonna go a long way down,and im speaking wages,food prices,unemployment.Because now people are saying,Oh well USA has debts of trillions to china,but the one who might be saying that still gonna live in china and earn 1$ per hour.Im no conspiracy fan and believe that currencies wont go anywhere,but value manipulation is a big part of forex.
