I am sure many of the longs position set to tp @1.4..
So, retractment can be expected..

Follow the rules of your and trade what u see..
I will not want to be a frog that swim in a small pond..

the H4 SPX500 shows possible reversal developing, two low highs confirmed. but it's too early to say bearish.
plus the fundy: better job data-->less possibility have QE3 (or smaller size)-->stock price will fall
the S&P has the most clear trend in last months, worth watching.

I found this thread about ten days ago and i'm demo trading it since.

I would like to say Thank you Sonic and all the rest!

Still reading /a lot to read yet/ and trying to understand it better, but so far really like it. I think this is just the right thing for a newbie like me

there are 3 zip files, which one you guys use to trade live?

How many pips are broken above the high of the candle broken the upper white line to long? And enter long immediately?

If you click on the top right ( clipboard symbol ), then " hide images ", then go to the zip file dated December 01, 2010.

This is the one posted by Traderathome, on his birthday if I remember correctly.

The good point abt Sonic R is it is not template dependent. You can use any template you want. It is just a set of mindsets/rules.

We can discus each other effectively even thou both may be using diff template, as long as key feature are the same such as Sonic Dragon and vol Indication.

If you still insist on the recommendation on which template, I'd say SonicRV3 or TAH lastest template. (Read post1 page1)

how many pips above/below of the high/low to enter the trade?

so using buy/sell stop to enter?

That's show you have not read much of the thread...

PLs read thru it.. I suggest post 1 page 1..and at least first 30 pages and last 30 pages..
We do not just discuss our trade in words, we do it in charts. It is fairly easy for new comers to pick up fast..

as I learned from this thread about 4 months, and start getting the winning feeling of it. the following thing i suggest you and newcomers to do.
1. red at least the first 200pages of the thread, see how the Sonic R masters made those trades.

2. while reading the thread, keep these key points in mind: (see how the master do this)
how to apply wave analysis in multi time frame, and get correct trend bias
how to use the S/R level, in decde the trend continue or possible change, entry safety, stop loss, TP.
how to combine the trend line breakout with the Sonic R

3. take note of the important points

4. demo trade, see the result and find the area that need to be improved.

5. re-read the post one every week, re-read the first 200 pages after you pratisc the system, you will understand more & deeply with second reading.

6. mastering the Sonic R only the first step. try to read other resourse regarding the money management, and trading psychology. mental skill is the key factor for long term profitable trader.

7. finally, listen to Soinc.
