It was looking good until it closed above the 3937 level (1.618 XA extension). The 2.24 BC extension was within 12 pips of this level too.

I'm not experienced enough to know if the violation of the 1.618 is regarded as a formation failure though. Will try to keep an open mind.

Still short 1.3964
nice resistance and weekly volume only fall for 6 weeks while price increase...
I believe need some correction at this level before new ups.

I have been sitting on the fence waiting for that drop to 3920 to enter longs

too risky going long here even if we know ecb c an raise rates

better to wait ............ oh boy

as long as u we dont lose pips? you need a fix SL and target.... then u wont have this problem...

anyway you might move sl to be or s.th else if position went x-pips into profit and scale out (bank x % of position)....

I thought the whole idea of a carry trade is to place an order and hold forever. Just like long term investing?

Any green pips is a bonus. You make money as long as you are break even? This is the carry trader's mentality no?
