My forecast for NFP

euro will dip sharply, BUY THIS DIP

target will be 3957 or 4018

I will look to buy around 3900 or 3887

Reason:

  1. US will not talk about rates till June
  2. ECB can begin as early as next month
  3. UK will follow 1 month after ECB move.

enjoy NFP

try not to be caught on the shorts, try to buy as low as it can get, do not enter early.

Yes you are correct, i was long at 3807 actually, and continually to add in my units. here is some proof. OH, and I was just being sarcastic about "are you serious." I just haven't seen you this patient before...

This was all brought up over obital and post about the US debt celling. Like i told him the teabaggers are making this an issue to save face but will cave in. they will raise the debt celling.

and well of course, i exited the trade this morning taking in +200pips for a 4 day trade. A weak 4 day trade. I didn't expect the many bounces.

i should not be trading tonight.. pre nfp.. its rare to see a #1 target so far away.. the bulls dont care.. they left the bears a long leash.. they dont have to protect for a while. so i will try to collect a few of the scraps.

Becareful dude. i am a little skeptical of the bounce. I do not have any available resources to pick up scraps, but when freed up, scraps are the best when you pick it right. we have another 45 until day closes

nfp is coming. ecb hinted they were gonna raise. if employment is better then expected that will be a usd hint. i don't know how it will come down. ill just wait for the smoke to clear. until then i risk 20 and maybe i move sl up... 3808 is reasonable.
i will say this.. my beer sales are up the last 2 weeks. by 4x.

Ok, so in my bid to learn more fundamentals,

Someone please explain to me NFP.

As I understand it, news leading to NFP has been good. So there is high likelyhood that tonight is going to be good for the USD.

However, last night trichet said some radical stuff about euro rate hikes.

So im confused at the moment. Assuming that NFP numbers turn out good as we all expect, are we going to see a 5min red candle on EU? Or does trichet's speech have more importance? I can't seem to understand.

Also, good can mean a lot of things, not everyone thinks my good is the "good" that everyone else is thinking of. So how do you interpret whats good or not?

EUR is waiting for the NFP. If it is dollar negative...the EUR is going for the 4281 high.

think you are in the wrong thread to ask fundies. there are few in this thread who thinks they trade fundies. my suggestion to you, have a deep pocket if you are thinking to trade fundies because even with 70-100 sl is not gonna cut it, imo.
