Some say the method I am currently using is a very bad way to trade. I have three remaining trades out of over 70 trades, all the others profitable and most of many multiple parts. And all of the profitable "multiple parts" of all the completed trades significantly overshadows the multiple parts of the running trades, one of which is nearly in profit as I write, and which has multiple parts.

That leaves only two trades out in "never-never land", both of which I added to today on the swings high. One has to understand that NOTHING goes in the same direction forever, and most certainly in the forex market! I am building my short positions on these two pairs, moving my EP average up as their prices get pumped up. They will reverse. And I have the margin leverage, plus added to by all the previous wins, to ride the upwards trend to its inevitable completion. So, I will continue to add at 75-100 pip swings until the show is over. At that time, my EP average will not be a far way off.

And, just as Sonicdeejay, on his two long trades, is up 800 pips (Congrats, Master! But is that based on size of trade, or just based on EP/EP avg....to.....close?), I expect to do exceedingly well on the trip back down.

I have entered long per attached pic. The PV study shows highest activity has been coming off the lows. These are buying surges beginning at the lowest prices, and which tapers off when the price nears the top of the range, which could be considered the level for a breakout upwards, yet to come. It might happen tomorrow with both USD and CAD High Impact releases. Meanwhile, the PPMs are working the price back down on as light volume as possible, for the resumption of buying. So, it could go lower than my entry before another round of buying.

multiple entries... does that mean you are down more than 1000 pips right now? Thats very bad trading no matter how you call it.
Just admit you were wrong on this one. Everyone gets it wrong sometimes , it doesnt make you a bad trader. keeping this trade going however, does.
Do you think I am wrong because EU has not yet reversed? Or, do you think I am wrong because I am making multiple short entries on EU price movement before it reverses?

1. It would be stupid of a trader to believe it will not eventually reverse.
2. It would be arrogant of a trader to believe they can call tops and bottoms, or the right place to make a single entry.

I try my best to be neither stupid, nor arrogant. And I seriously doubt that professional traders "put it all" on a single entry, only to lose it with a misplaced SL. Professional traders play the wrong side of the move, just as I am doing. Why do they win doing this, and retail traders lose doing this? The answer is easy. Professional traders can afford to be "wrong" longer!

Can I just say thanks for this thread, I've learnt a lot from reading it and as someone who is reasonably new to trading it has helped me understand many things related to trading that has complimented some live trading training I am subscribed to.

Luckily I am one of those people that reads the instructions before they build something am my goal is to build into being a successful trader so thank you all for sharing your experiences that will help others, who choose to benifit from your experience, so they can be successful that much sooner with hopefully less mistakes along the way.

I couldn't agree more with what traderathome wrote earlier, it's simply the law of the universe called Balance and who can handle the heat in the kitchen

I hav posted my 2 trade acc pic in one of my post in somewhere last week..
How I achieve it? That's simple.
When the trade goes on you way, in stead of taking TP2, I just manage my SL to BE or below support level..

Anyway, both trade SL at BE for sure now..

EU Comment:

Observe the PV story. The pump was fast and far on not much more volume than the TF before (where price moved little), and certainly on less volume than what followed! Look at the volume (count of trades executed) thru FXDD after the pump.

Three things are obvious here;

1. The fact the pump was accomplished on not much more activity than the preceding TF, which was of little price movement, says this was not price rising due to heavy buying, but that the price rise was due to a contrived pump for the purpose of quickly obtaining higher prices.

2. The fact that the volume following the pump was indeed higher than the volume of the pump proves that the real interest was to do something after higher prices were achieved. And what do professional traders do at highs? They SELL! Which means they closed the longs necessary to orchestrate the pump and any longs obtained before the pump. As well, they are now in an even better position to add to that longer strategy short position.

3. After the high volume TF following the pump (which lowered the price due to heavy shorting), we see the price completely restored back up again in the next TF. But look at the small volume it took! This too is proof that the PPMs are repumping the price back to the high mark for more shorting, and they are accomplishing the pump on as little "pump buying" as they can get away with. This is just another sign that the PPMs are not really interested in buying, except as necessary to pump the price to resume adding to their higher priority longer term short position.

One other observation from the volume study is that even with all the activity today, prime time trading was down. For that to be, on such a day as it was, it shows that apart from the Professional Price Manipulating trading concerns, other traders are losing interest in upswings on this pair.
