2 pip heat (SL was at 42 pips) and 800 pip gain after about 4 weeks on a GBPCAD short (19/11/2010 to 15/12/2010). Made a top, I put my trade on at the top and then it made a double top and dived down.

where do you get your info 6hrs before? or was it merely charts, and trichet as luck? just questioning what other factors besides your prediction of trichet's announcement. I have my theories, but just interested in other folks' theories in here...

Don't confuse trading a daily chart swing trade with trading from the daily chart for reference intraday...two completely different things....just my 2 cents.

Remember, the debt ceiling is mostly political theater. As with most democracies, U.S. politics is ultimately local. Representatives get elected by delivering government money to their districts, and, in spite of their fiscal views, the mantra is, as it has been: no bondies, no porkies.

We need to look back and note that is one of the root causes of the M.E. unrest, and recognize the unfortunate feedback loop which that entails.

From that article: "In the face of growing demand and a decline in world cereal production in 2010, global cereal stocks this year are expected to fall sharply because of a decline in inventories of wheat and coarse grains." the agency said.

This is the first UTL on daily; and with Trichet news, can be taken very easy, even "maybe" today.. sure we'll have some retracement, but ultimate target is monthly level apx. 1.422.. as confluence with ABC, UTL and Monthly level 1.422

Yes. Intraday based trading takes only daily chart as a cue. Even more important is weekly. Even better when you have W,D,H in conjuction.

Thats a pure trend trade then.

if you look critically, there are key demand levels on higher tf especially daily 3832 was a very good one..3883 is another key demand level..keeping a close eye on it

Huh... this is interessting, thanks for posting this, one of the very few intelligent posts in here today actually.

Unfortunately im flying to london tommorow so i wont have a lot of time trading or spending on FF but ill look into this since this is quite curious indeed.
