I'm by no means experienced with trading but I'm trying to learn. I've attached a screenshot of the 15 min chart which to me seems like it fits a Elliot 5-3 wave. Just trying to get some input any comments would be appreciated.
EW is really subjective. The only real EW count that works is the one done after the fact. Yes your count works, but so dose anything else.
I hate to bust your bubble but EW will let you down. Put some pivots and fibs on your chart and watch those instead.

Why as a beginner would you start with EW theories?
Why don't you start with just simple things like double tops/bottoms, trend lines and resistance / support numbers.

Watching price action by whatever means offers continued gains and consistent profits is certainly no waste of time. Much like watching the Murrays Math, Moving Averages, Fibs and Fans, as well as the supply and demand zones, each trader must come to understand and be comfortable with their idea of watching Price in relation to support and resistance levels.
I was much of the same mind watching Gartleys, until I seen the actual power of the tool. Though I may not understand it, nor have the ability and comprehension to search for these patterns, doesn't mean that I believe that the tool will not be effective for some.
Just a matter of taking the time to get to know your charts...
