Lol It is just a matter of common sense, do you really believe that the Japanese Government or their BOJ will allow the Yen to rise a 1000 pips?
Every big Japanese company that get its life from exports is losing money every day when the yen is growing too big.

Yes I take a well over thought risk with buying UY at this level.
Actually I think it is no risk at all.

Yen will go down, sooner or later, and as a risk manager, I would say this is a very good investment.

I too also notice that, making a loads of money with 15 pips move, and then claim no problem with 1000 pips down.

I tried with a system that can handle 2000 pips down< but I was down only $200 in real money. Then I realize, if I trade with the trend rather fighting it, I can make more money. Its called opportunity cost, when money is sitting in idle.

but seriously, for anyone to say 'no risk at all' is just ignorant, what about credit default of a country, tariffs, NK/SK war, Chinese intervention, deflation & stagflation, etc. the list goes on ... I am sure at some point in time when usd/jpy was 100+ that it wasn't believe it could be 80.xx.

Who in the 70's would have guessed the silver bubble in the 80's? Who would have guessed the gold & commodities value and devalue of today and the future.

Some of the newcomers [and some other not that new] should pay attention not necessarily to the technicalities of this trade but the consistency of your last trade.

You got stopped out by 1 pip in the prev attempt (that I would put it in the bad luck side) as noisy news made a double bull trap when most of the time the sell should have started a couple hours before or at least not reached that level again after the failure to break 1.383x was clear intraday.

2 thumbs up and a lesson for a lot of traders around here.
