My logic is that I figured some computer algo programs freaked out and dumped some Euro when London equities got shut down. I could be right, I could be wrong. It doesn't matter to me either way, as it was a profitable trade.
As for volume/liquidity, I didn't notice it being diminished. I was watching the volume on Bid/Ask and it looked normal.

It's been a good week in spite of having to wrap my brain...
